Grafenauer Petja

Dr Petja Grafenauer je docentka na Katedri za teorijo UL ALUO.

Leta 2000 je diplomirala s temo Tavole parolibere: futuristična slikovna poezija pri Italijanih, Rusih in Slovencih(mentor dr. Lev Menaše) in leta 2010 doktorirala s temo Vzporedna slikarska linija: slovensko slikarstvo razširjenega statusa vizualnega 1926-2009 (mentor dr. Jure Mikuž).

Je specialistka za lokalno in regijsko umetnost po Drugi svetovni vojni, predvsem slikarstvo in sodobno umetnost. Od leta 2012 raziskuje tudi preseke ekonomije in umetnosti. Svoje raziskovanje redno objavlja v znanstvenih, strokovnih in poljudnih medijih. Napisala in uredila je več knjig o vizualni umetnosti, mdr. raziskavo obdobja pop arta v Sloveniji Neuvrščeni pop (2017), knjigo besedil Zdenke Badovinac Avtentični interes (2010) in monografijo slikarja Aleksija Kobala (2008).

Od 2005 do 2016 je bila nosilka modula Zgodovina sodobne umetnosti na Akademiji umetnosti Univerze v Novi Gorici. Med 2016 in 2017 je bila predstojnica Oddelka za fotografijo, VIST, Ljubljana. Leta 2017 se je zaposlila na ALUO.

Med leti 2001-2008 je bila članica Redakcije za kulturo in humanistične vede na Radiu Študent, med 2005 in 2006 urednica redakcije. Med 2006 in 2009 je vodila galerijski program Galerije Ganes Pratt. Med 2009 in 2015 je bila sourednica slovenske revije za vizualno umetnost Likovne besede. Od 2013 do 2014 je bila zaposlena kot kustosinja v Mestni galeriji v MGML v Ljubljani. Med 2015 in 2017 je vodila Galerijo Vodnikove domačije Šiška.

Kurirala je številne razstave, mdr. Neuvrščeni pop (2016–2017), Grafični bienale, z vami vse od 1955 (30. grafični bienale, 2013), Hočemo biti svobodni, kot so bili očetje (2010, z Božidarjem Zrinskim), Nestabilna realnost: 6 opic, 300 kuvert in 1 ljubezen: Nepopolno kot vedno (28. grafični bienale, 2009) in mnoge samostojne razstave, mdr. Žige Kariža, Viktorja Bernika, Dejana Kaludjerovića, Aleksija Kobala, Dušice Dražić, Saše Sedlačka, Ksenije Čerče, Ivana Fijolića, Jasmine Cibic, Igorja Eškinje, Marka Požlepa, Ištvana Išta Huzjana, Maje Smrekar, Connyja Bloma, Ibre Hasanovića, Ignacia Uriarteja, Sanele Jahić, Saše Vrabiča, Mihe Štruklja in drugih.
