Illustration (MA)
The Master’s study programme Visual Communication Design guides students towards deepening their knowledge and developing personal creative abilities, technical skills and the theoretical knowledge necessary for independent creative work in different areas of visual communications. Students can choose from three courses: Photography, Graphic Design and Illustration. Through research and experimentation, this study encourages innovation and talent, a search for new approaches to the conception and visual expression of communication topics.
Master’s study in Illustration is based on independent student work and on upgrading the acquired knowledge. Theoretical and practical analyses of the best international illustration achievements form the basis for investigating their own creative potentials in the area of illustration. During the study, you will acquire the skills of visual thinking required for independent work aiming at innovation, effective realisation of the most demanding tasks and team work based on interdisciplinary approach, cultivation of your own aesthetics and critical awareness of global issues.
