Opening of the Design+Science Summer School: Cohabitation

On Monday, 11 July 2022, at 19:00, the main event of the opening of the second edition of the Design+Science Summer School: Cohabitation, co-organised by the University of Ljubljana (Academy of Fine Arts and Design, Faculty of Chemistry and Chemical Technology) and the Association for Culture and Education PiNA, Faculty of Design Split and Institute Joanneum of the University of Applied sciences Graz, will take place at the CD Club of Cankarjev dom.

This year’s summer school will be dedicated to the concept of cohabitation, in particular between the relations of man to man, man to nature and man to technology.

We cordially invite you to join us at the opening!

The Summer School will be opened by the Minister of Culture, Dr. Asta Vrečko.

Then, the opening speeches by Prof. Boštjan Botas Kenda (UL ALUO), who will address the importance of design in cohabitation, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Marina Klemenčič (UL FKKT), who will outline cohabitation from the perspective of human relations, and Borut Jerman (PiNA), who will stress the importance of interdisciplinarity in cohabitation, will be followed by a performance by LifeCutter_Subpersona and an evening with DJ Mondo Cinematico.
