Work experience and collaborations:

  • 2022 – 2024: Head of the Design+Science Learning Unit at EUTOPIA Universities
  • 2020 – current: co-founder of the Design+Science Summer School
  • 2017 – current: full professor of visual communication at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design, University of Ljubljana (UL ALUO)
  • 2017-2019: Vice-Rector for Arts at the University of Ljubljana
  • 2017: chaired the commission for the national strategic document on design.
  • 2015 – current: participation in the promotion of the research-based Doctorate of Arts in Practice through CA²RE, ADAPT-r (PRS) and the Doctorate of Arts programme at the University of Ljubljana.
  • 2013-2017: Dean of the Academy of Fine Arts and Design
  • 2011-2013: Head of the Department of Visual Communication at UL ALUO
  • 1994: founder and partner of studiobotas, a graphic design studio focusing on book design and signage in public space
