Interactive Design (MA)
The Master’s study programme Visual Communication Design guides students towards deepening their knowledge and developing personal creative abilities, technical skills and the theoretical knowledge necessary for independent creative work in different areas of visual communications. Students can choose from four courses: Photography, Graphic Design, Illustration and Interactive Design. Through research and experimentation, this study encourages innovation and talent, a search for new approaches to the conception and visual expression of communication topics.
The purpose of Interactive Design Master’s study is to train contemporary interaction designers with autonomous artistic expression and the ability to respond to the complex challenges of the digital and physical world. The course lasts four semesters, during which students develop a comprehensive approach to design through in-depth independent work and participation in multidisciplinary project teams. The programme covers the entire design process, from theory and research methods to experimentation, conception, prototyping and final realisation of projects. The emphasis is on combining creativity with innovative use of technology and on developing complex design solutions that are socially and technologically relevant. Graduates are able to engage in open dialogue, critical thinking, leading multidisciplinary teams and communicating effectively.
