{"id":15439,"date":"2023-01-10T09:39:34","date_gmt":"2023-01-10T08:39:34","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.aluo.uni-lj.si\/tecaji\/the-preparatory-applied-arts-course\/"},"modified":"2026-01-20T16:54:38","modified_gmt":"2026-01-20T15:54:38","slug":"applied-arts-course","status":"publish","type":"tecaji","link":"https:\/\/www.aluo.uni-lj.si\/en\/tecaji\/applied-arts-course\/","title":{"rendered":"Applied arts course"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong>Applied arts course will be held on Fridays, between 16.00 to 19.00, from March to May 2026, at UL ALUO, Department for Industrial Design and Applied Arts, Dolenjska cesta 83.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>CONTENT<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Lecture on contemporary glass and ceramics \/ art + design.<\/li>\n<li>Exercises in modelling in clay and preparing clay for design.<\/li>\n<li>Introductory lecture in art theory.<\/li>\n<li>Introduction to the process of designing a task: setting a starting point, concept, basics of freehand drawing for 3D design, preparation of a workflow plan.<\/li>\n<li>Fundamentals of artistic expression (form and expression).<\/li>\n<li>Analysis of the possibilities of own artistic expression.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h2><strong>INFORMATION<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Enrolment and payment:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You can register for the course until the places are filled,\u00a0<strong>exclusively via the online form<\/strong> at: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/5ccxe1EVkY\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">https:\/\/forms.office.com\/e\/5ccxe1EVkY<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>You can attend more than one course<\/strong>\u00a0if they are held on different dates; it is\u00a0<strong>not possible to change between courses at a later date<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>The price of each course is EUR 390 incl. VAT. Once we have received your registration form, we will send you an\u00a0<strong>invoice<\/strong>\u00a0by email, which\u00a0<strong>must be paid in full no later than 7 days before the start of the course<\/strong>. You can pay it at any bank or post office in Slovenia or via e-banking. When paying the invoice, please quote the correct reference you will receive on your invoice.<\/p>\n<p>You will receive\u00a0<strong>information about the course three days before the start<\/strong>\u00a0of the course.<\/p>\n<p><strong>In case of cancellation<\/strong>, which must be justified in writing and sent to our address\u00a0<strong>at least 8 days before the start of the course<\/strong>, we will refund 70% of the tuition fee paid within 30 days of receipt of the cancellation, with the remaining amount (30%) retained for administrative costs or bank transaction costs.
