Prof. Jože Barši
Education:
- 1974–1980: Architectural Studies at the Faculty of Architecture, Civil Engineering and Geodesy in Ljubljana, graduated under Prof. Edvard Ravnikar.
- 1983-1988: Sculpture Studies at UL ALUO.
- 1991: Completed Sculpture Studies.
Professional experience and collaborations:
During his studies, he worked in the architectural office of Professor Edvard Ravnikar, where he was an external collaborator for two years after graduation.
- 1988–: He taught at the Department of Sculpture at UL ALUO, in 1994 he became an assistant professor, and in 1999 an associate professor. Since 2006, he has been a full professor.
- 2001: He lectured as a visiting professor at Indiana University of Pennsylvania in the USA (one semester).
- 2010: SCCA, The world of art, a school for curators and critics of contemporary art. Mentor during the academic year 2010/2011 with Nevenka Šivavec.
- 2009: Head of the seminar at the Workers and Punks University (with Rok Benčina and Lidija Radojevič), Ljubljana.
