Peter Koštrun was born in 1979 in Ljubljana. He finished the Secondary School for Design and Photography; then he was, in 1998–2001, employed as the official photographer of the Office of the President and of the Government of the Republic of Slovenia. In 2007 he graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Ljubljana. Since 2003 he has regularly exhibited his work at home and abroad, participating also at the group exhibition Photonic Moments III – the salon of contemporary photography of East and South-East Europe (2007), annually presenting the rising artists from this region.
